Replica of the colt in obomodulan

Nov 10, 2016

The Colt M1911, milled on two sides and glued. The Colt M1911 is a semi-automatic gun designed by John Browning and manufactured by Colt's Manufacturing Company. The gun was used in many wars including World War I, World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. We thought it would be good to copy them, not as a working specimen, but for decoration, made from obomodulan and later from powdered silver. The handles are milled from wood (padoek).
