Description

This set of threaded inserts (also called screw-in nuts) have a metric screw thread on the inside and wood thread on the outside.
After pre-drilling in wood, these can be screwed into the wood with an Allen key, after which a bolt, metal screw or threaded rod can be screwed in.

Pre-drilling:
These nuts cannot be screwed into the wood without pre-drilling. The ideal drilling diameters depend on the hardness of the wood. The harder the wood, the larger the drilling diameter should be.

The drilling depth is usually: nut length plus 1 to 3 mm.
