This is a hand drill, which includes a hand-cranked mechanism to rotate the drill bit. The components shown are:

- Drill Chuck: The part that holds the drill bit.
- Chuck Key: The tool used to tighten or loosen the chuck to secure or release the drill bit.
- Crank Handle: The part that is turned by hand to rotate the drill bit manually.

This type of drill is often used for precision work in woodworking and other crafts where control over drilling speed and pressure is important.
The maximum clamping capacity of the chuck is 10 mm; this is the maximum shank diameter that can be held.
